Zen Poodles’ priority is the welfare of the pets in my care and to give you and your pet the best service I can.

Helping us to make your pet comfortable

  • I ask all clients to complete a Client Registration to make me aware of anything I need to know about your pet’s health and behaviour, so please do update me if anything changes.
  • By completing a Client Registration you confirm your agreement to these terms and conditions and that I can rely on the information provided.

Your information

  • I may also photograph or video your pet and use these images on ZenPoodles’ website or Instagram page. Please let me know if you do not wish to use images of your pet.
  • I will not share your details with other organisations. However, from time to time I will contact you by phone, or text with news, offers and service updates.
  • I keep client records for 7 years, and then destroy them before recycling. You have the right to request any information I hold about you. I will provide copy(ies) within 30 days.

Confirming your appointment 

  • I will remind you the day before your appointment by text. Please tell me if you prefer not to be reminded.

On the Day 

  • At the time of your pet’s appointment please ensure that they are fit and healthy and all vaccinations are up to date.

About your dog 

  • Pets with extremely matted coats may be charged extra. If I feel that de-matting your pet would cause too much stress and discomfort I may recommend a complete clip down. This will dramatically change your pet’s appearance, as their hair will be short and close to the skin. I will of course, call you to discuss this with you prior to proceeding.
  • Grooming of sick or elderly pets is entirely at the owner’s risk. Grooming may expose underlying skin or health problems that I cannot be held liable for, I will contact you to advise you to contact your vet for advice.
  • If your pet becomes ill whilst in my care I may call a vet and unless it can be clearly shown that Zen Poodles are liable, all vet costs shall be at the owner’s expense.

Payment 

  • Payment must be made before or on collection of your pet.
  • At the moment I prefer Bank Transfer for safety reasons but I do also accept cash and major debit & credit cards
